LG originally comes from Lucky-Goldstar, so I will refer to it as your Lucky and/or Goldstar Handpone and laugh at you. Is that a con?

I mock mostly because I can, I had an LCD-bescreened LG flip phone for years and it was excellent.

I loved my last LG phone, more than my current iPhone 6 TBH. Take from that what you will.

Z3 owner here. I had Xperia S and Xperia Z before.
The Z3 looks better and it's waterproof. It will also get Android Lollipop update soon.

I have an LG G3, which is really similar, and I love it. I say go for it.

Is Sim-only not a thing in the States? I always hear people on here talking about how they can't get this or that phone because [insert network] doesn't carry it.

Cons: Shitty OEM software skin that will DRIVE YOU INSANE. I had an LG Volt with a quad core and 1 GB of RAM, and the keyboard would nope the fuck out while I was typing.
"No problem, I'll just download another keyboard off google play, problem solved." Right? WROOOONG, the other keyboard will do the same thing because the software bloat eats up all the RAM and kicks the fucking keyboard out of memory! Did I mention all the background apps that LG loads up and runs whether you want them to or not? Did I mention the absolutely horrid notifications area which will be loaded up with dumb shit you'll never use? (okay...I did use the multitasking calculator quite a lot, but still not worth it!!) Did I mention that all that shit will just re-load if you attempt to root it?
Nope, nope, nope, a thousand times no. Do it and you will severely regret it.

Is the G3 that much more expensive than this? To me its a mid grade phone trying to look and act like the big boys. Its got a bigger screen than the G3 but a quarter of the pixels, and nowhere near the performance. I honestly have never heard of this phone before now. If you are looking for good phone and free with 2 year, I would go with the last years Droid Maxx for the battery and performance, the HTC M8 since as far as I have heard its just a solid phone but battery is lacking or spring the few bucks and get a 2nd gen Moto X.

My current phone is/was an LG. A shit cheap LG, and has been freezing crashing being an asshole until I kilt it, but otherwise it wasn't BAD.

That's lame. Like seriously, why put up with BS like that?
Get a Windows Phone. You can delete the bloat.
Unless you are adamant about playing the very newest games, or use Google exclusively, a WP device will do everything else you need it to.
